Margaret A. "Peggy" Sell, age 67, of Willard, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky, Ohio. She was born on February 28, 1951 in Peoria, Illinois to Santos and Ann Lee (Held) Messina. Peggy was a 1969 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing cards, board games, church softball, bowling in mixed doubles leagues, traveling and camping.
She is survived by her husband, John J. Sell, who she married on November 24, 1973 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fremont; four sons, David L. (Carrie) Sell of Willard; Robert L. (Heather) Sell of Chicago, IL; John J. Sell of Pasadena, MD; and Matthew C. (Shannon) Sell of Savannah, GA; eight grandchildren, Keegan Sell, Emily Bentz, Alexis Sell, Parker Sell, Dominic Sell, Kylie Sell, Declan Sell and Brogan Sell; six siblings, Steven Messina of Sandusky; Michael Messina of Bonita Springs, FL; Thomas Messina of Fremont; Cathy Adams of Fremont; Mary Ann Reser of Fremont and James Messina of Fremont; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Santos and Ann Lee (Held) Messina.
Visitation will be at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Peggy's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 3:00 PM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard, Ohio with Fr. George Mahas and Monsignor Robert L. Sell officiating. Burial will be at a later date at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Ships, Shriner's Hospital or Partner's in Hope.
