Michael Dean Holbrook, age 66, resident of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 21, 1952 in Willard, Ohio a son of the late Alfred and Lee Esther (Montgomery) Holbrook. Mike graduated in 1970 from Willard High School. Following high school, Mike attended Tiffin University where he received his Accounting Degree. He then went on to establish his family business, Holbrook Accounting and was an accountant for Pepperidge Farm for 32 years as well. He was a member of the Willard Church of God. Mike was known for his great sense of humor. He was a big man with a big heart. More than anything, Mike loved spending time with his family and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy (Hicks) Holbrook whom he was married to for 47 years; three children, Shane and his wife, Tara (Snyder) Holbrook of Willard, Heather and her husband, Mark Howell of Willard, and Mary and her friend Tiffiany Shepherd of Greenwich; four grandchildren, HarLee and Hannah Holbrook, and Kyla and Isabella Gardner; two brothers, Aron and (Celia) Holbrook, and Larry Holbrook; three sisters, Juanita and (Dillard) Hall, Edith Hall, and Thelma Jean Hamons.

In addition to his parents Mike is preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Holbrook; brothers-in-law, Cleon Hall and Ronald Hamons; and a special sister-in-law, Betty Stein.

Visitation will be held at the Willard Church of God, 4551 Willard West Road, Willard, Ohio on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and continuing on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 9:00 AM to Twelve Noon, where the funeral service will held at Noon with Pastor Donald Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven. Memorial contributions can be made to the Holbrook Family. Mike was a true friend in high school and for some years thereafter. I used to stop at the gas station on South Main when he ran the pumps there. We would talk about life. He will be missed.

Peggy, Just got back from vacation and found out about the funeral too late to attend. So sorry for your loss of a truly great guy. Had a lot of good times and laughs with Mike and He was always one of "our kids" from back in the 60's at the church. I'll always remember his smile.
