Marian Ruth Cashman died March 25, 2011 in Columbine West Rest & Rehabilitation Center in Fort Collins, Colorado. She was 89. Mrs. Cashman was the daughter of J. Eldon Nimmons and Ruth Finfrock Nimmons of Plymouth, Ohio. She was married to Earl C. Cashman, for many years President of the Peoples National Bank in Plymouth. She was a graduate of Plymouth High School and Mount Union University. She taught English and served as the school librarian for Plymouth High School and at Shelby High School in Ohio. She was an active member of the First Lutheran Church in Plymouth and later of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sarasota, Florida . Mrs. Cashman and her husband retired to Sarasota in the early 1980s and resided there for over twenty years. Her husband died in 2000. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Gerry and Cindy Cashman of Fort Collins, and Dr. Greg and Linda Cashman of Salisbury, MD; two grandsons, Brian Cashman of Boulder, Colorado and Keith Cashman of Centerville, Ohio; and two great grandsons, David and Matthew Cashman of Centerville, Ohio.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth, Ohio. Online condolences can be made at www.secorfuneralhomes.com
