I just heard about Mary's passing. What a wonderful person she was. She was a great labor leader for 804 and was fair to all that she represented. She was very community minded and did a lot of service for the city of Willard. You were a champion Mary, rest in peace.

Mary was a good Labor Union advocate. It wouldn't matter if I was at the New Haven Post office or if she was eating at Plymouth St. Joe's, Mary would always ask about the Labor Union and Union workers in general. If there were more Union Labor minds like Mary Burns, the world would be a lot better place.
