Richard A. Polachek, age 74, resident of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Blossom Nursing Home in Willard, Ohio. He was born on January 1, 1947 in Willard, Ohio to the late John and Lillian (Mudrinic) Polachek. He was a self employed painter. He liked to travel to Florida in the winters where he liked to be by the beach and he enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by one daughter, Kathie Kammer of Sandusky, Ohio; 3 grandsons, Kolby, Joey and Tyler Kammer of Sandusky and granddaughter, Amber Batchelor Akers of Sandusky; 2 great granddaughters, Madelyn Batchelor and Kacey Winters of Sandusky; brother, Jim (Ann) Polachek of Willard; three sisters, Jean (Jim) Hutchinson of Willard, Carolyn (Al) Cummings of Ashland and Nancy Harry of Mt. Joy, PA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Lillian Polachek; one daughter, Krista Polachek Batchelor; brother, John Polachek; and one infant brother, Raymond Lee Polachek.
The Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio will assist the family with calling hours Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Willard, Ohio, where the funeral service will be Saturday at 11:00 AM.
