Matthew C. Stoller, age 26, resident of Lakewood, Ohio and former Plymouth resident passed away on Friday, May 30, 2008 at his home. He was born on January 30, 1982 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and had been a life long Plymouth resident. Matt was a 2000 graduate of Plymouth High School and attended Eastern Michigan University. He most recently was employeed in Painesville, Ohio with Land Styles Landscaping. He enjoyed playing basketball and golf.
He is survived by his parents, Mike and Angie Stoller of Plymouth; a sister, Heather Stoller of Plymouth; maternal grandmother, Janice Keys of Ft. Wayne, IN; maternal grandfather, Paul Newyear of Huron, OH; paternal grandmother, Joy Stoller of Willard, OH; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Warren A. Stoller.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 AM with Reverend Brian Peltomaa officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth. I am deeply sorry for your loss and would like his family to know he touched many lives, even those who knew him so long ago.I knew Matt from back in Elementary school and I still remember his smile and wonderful caring spirit. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Matt graduated w/my son Brandon Welsh. The Welsh family doesn’t live in the area anymore but would like to send it’s condolences to Matt’s family and friends. We send many angels to help the family get through this hard time. May God Bless you and keep you all safe. Our prayers are with you.

I was so shocked to hear about Matt.He was a joy to know and a caring young man. The last time I heard from him, he had called and emailed me to help him with his resume.
I want you all to know how hard he worked.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Matt was a great guy, and he did alot for our family during difficult times. He helped us move twice and put together shelves, sweepers, and all the things a household of 3 women have difficulty with. We will always remember him as a part of our family and he will be sorely missed. We hope he now may find the peace he truly deserves.

I met Stoller freshman year at the Arms House. I will always remember him as being funny, and full of life. My thoughts are with you at this time.

I will always remember Matt’s voice and smile. He had a very warm and kind voice that was soothing and a fantastic smile that always had a sparkle of mischief. He was a one of kind man and will be missed by everyone.
May his family find strengh at this hard time and celebrate his life, I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Matt from Eastern and I know that there will be many grieving from this great loss.
Matt & I go way back; back to the days of toy trucks & barbie dolls. I cannot begin to express how much Matt will truly be missed by all who knew him. My thoughts & prayers are with you through this difficult time.
i am going to miss my friend greatly. i take comfort in knowing that matt is not in pain anymore. his struggles over the past few years were hard on him and all who were around him. he has a wonderful family and they should know that matt was a great person and he was a great product of his upbringing. i love you matt, and hope to see you again someday. i still dont want to say goodbye, so i will just say, see you on the flip side.
