Maxie Moore, age 85, resident of Willard, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2006 in Hillside Acres Nursing Home. She was born on Janurary 24, 1921 to the late Morgan and Rosa (Moore) Stumbo and had been a resident of Willard since 1966.
She is survived by four sons and daughter-in-laws, Butler and Mayzella Moore of Shelby, Narmon and Deana Moore of Lodi, OH, Jessie and Joanne Moore of Willard, OH, and Jeff and Lisa Moore of Willard; four daughters and son-in-laws, Uvonnie and Rex Hall of Willard, OH, Christine and Willie Anderson of Knott Co., KY, Loverna and Salvador DeLacruz of Willard,OH, and Lonnie Krauzer of Toledo, OH; 24 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren; one sister, Elva Gearheart of Shiloh, OH; and two brothers, Granville Stumbo of Price, KY and James ‘Bud’ Stumbo of Price, KY. She is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Moore who died March 14, 2002; her parents; grandson, Brian K. Moore; 4 brothers; and 3 sisters.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Thursday from2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Where the funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Donald Gallion officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. www.secorfuneralhome.com
