Michael A. Lawrence, age 48, resident of Shiloh, Ohio, passed away at his home on March 4, 2013. He was born on April 16, 1964 in Willard, Ohio. Michael was an inspector for HUD Housing Projects and also had worked as an electrician. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, a major NASCAR fan and loved John Deere lawn mowers.
Michael is survived by his children, Brandon M. Lawrence, of Shiloh, Taylor Lawrence of Kite, Kentucky, Whitney (Kyle) Slone of Kite, Kentucky, and Peyton and Kayna Lawrence of Allen, Kentucky; mother, Gloria Risner Brown of Shiloh; brothers and sisters, Ronnie Stumbo of Kentucky, Tonya Neece of Willard, Michelle Gordon of Shelby, Katrina Gurney of Shelby, Bo Isaac of Greenwich, Zaneta Craft of Willard, Derrick Lawrence of Shiloh; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father Ronald J. Lawrence; step father, Ramon Brown; and son, Markus Lawrence.
Private services will held at a later date. Secor Funeral Home in Willard is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions can be made to Michael’s mother, Gloria Brown. Online condolences can be left for the family at www.secorfuneralhomes.com.

I only learned of Mike’s passing a couple of weeks ago. I hadn’t seen Mike in several years but I thought of him everyday. He always had a special place in my heart and he always will. I can’t believe he is really gone. My heart is so broken. I can’t imagine the hurt the family is going through. I know it’s been a few months since his passing but know that I will pray for you all as I know you all are still grieving. Rest in peace Mike. As long as I live you will always be loved.
I am sorry to hear about Mike. I remember most of you very well. May God strengthen and comfort you during this difficult time. Would like to visit and talk sometime.
Mike was a great person… And was loved by so many… My heart goes out to each of you… May god be with you all…I pray that God wraps his comforting arms around each of you and holds you tight especially through the next few days. I’m so sorry for your loss!
