My deepest condolences on Mike’s passing. I knew him from Christie Lane and he and I worked on the Mail route together for years. He always enjoyed the mail route and everyone along the way enjoyed seeing him too. He was very professional and conscientious about the job. Usually, when he came in from the bus, he came straight to say hello to me and show me what Alice had packed in his lunch. I would go on about how delicious it looked and how much I wanted someone to pack me a nice lunch like that. He got a big kick out of showing it to me every day and then he would say, “You jealous?” and laugh. I even teased him about letting me have Alice for my sister, but there’s no way he was giving her up! I’ve thought about him so often since I retired in 2020 and wondered how he was doing. I hope that you find peace in the fond memories you have with him. I will always remember his laugh.

Alice and family, I am so sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. One of my favorite memories is when he would come up in the choir lift and sing with us. He really enjoyed being up there with us. He would sit and quietly wait for me to put my music away and then would always ask me if he sang good with a huge smile on his face. Now Mike can sing all he wants in God’s choir. I will miss him. He was a great young man. Please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless 🙏
