Michael Ray “Mike” Stima, age 40, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2004 in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. He was born on September 10, 1963 to Ray Stima and Shirley (Raper) Frick and had been a resident of Willard since 1994. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Willard. He worked at Pepperidge Farms as a project manager for 16 years. He was an U.S. Air Force Veteran from 1984-1988.
He is survived by his wife, Shirlin Stima of Willard; his son, Noah Stima of Willard; his father and step mother, Ray and Pamela Stima of Shelby; his mother and step father, Shirley and Bill Frick of Indianapolis, IN; 2 brothers, John and Jim Stima; six sisters, Karen Bloom, Jenny Taylor, Kristy Ault, Kim Phillips, Kerrie Davis and Korrie York; paternal grandmother, Avis Crager of Rome, Ohio; father and mother-in-law, Harmon & Linda Gayheart of North Fairfield; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Moehrl; paternal grandfather, Allie Crager and maternal grandparents.
Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the Church of the Nazarene in Willard, where the funeral service will be Tuesday at 1:00 P.M., with Rev. Robert “Doc” Burrows officiating. Burial will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, OH. The Secor Funeral Home in Willard is in charge of arrangements.
