Nancy F. Shepherd, age 78, of Plymouth, Ohio passed away Monday, September 1, 2014 at The Willows in Willard, Ohio. She was born August 9, 1936 in Knott County Kentucky to the late Robert and Opal (Huff) Bolen. She was formerly employed by Cok’s Laundry and was a cake decorator for 22 years. She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Willard, Ohio.
She is survived by one son, Marvin (Tina) Shepherd of Willard; two daughters, Mavis (Joe) Hall of Toledo, and Michelle Shepherd of Willard; five grandchildren, Jeremy Cantu, Susan Burger, Eric Shepherd, Ryan Laferty and Emily Picheco; five great grandchildren; sister, Ann Shepherd of Kentucky and 3 brothers, Mac Bolen, Ray (Ollie) Bolen and Bethel (Dorothy) Bolen, all of Kentucky.
She is preceded by her parents and husband, Arthur “Art” Shepherd, who passed away Nov. 26, 2011 and a brother, Sterlin Bolen.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 3, 2014 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio. The funeral service will be Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 11:00am at the Freewill Baptist Church in Willard, Ohio with Rev. Ron Parsons and Rev. Delmer Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.secorfuneralhomes.com

Reece and I wanted to let the family know that you all are in our prayers and in our hearts, and we are so sorry for this dear lost.
My prayers are with all her love ones. Knowing her was a blessing for me and we had some great times just talking about love one that went on before us. It gave us both comfort. Loved her so much and as I know she was the best I will be with her again some day
