To All Of Nick’s Family, We are so very sorry to hear of Nick’s passing. He grew up with our youngest son Matt, was the first kid Matt met when we moved to Willard and they were very good friends. Nick always knew how to make us smile and he was a great boy who grew up to be a wonderful young man. He has given us many memories! We are heart broken over his passing but he will never, ever be forgotten. We will keep you all in our prayers in the upcoming weeks and months, especially his sweet little girls. May God be with you all! RIP dear Nick. We love you. Tami Botbyl Paterala

To family and friends of Nick. My deepest and sincere regrets for your loss. I only met Nick three times, but I know he was a very good young man. I am Zahara’s great grand father, and I could see how much he loved and cared for her. And like wise she loved him very much too. I was saddened deeply when I heard the terrible news of his accident. He will be missed by all who knew him. God be with you.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I taught Nick at WHS. Nick was a student I always looked forward to seeing. I had two Nicks that year and it was my Nick Nick class. He always put a smile on my face. Nick was a polite young man. He always added laughter to my classroom and I always enjoyed running into him in town. He never hesitated to make a point to come and talk to me. Nick was a student that I was proud of his accomplishments after graduating. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

Deano,
Really sorry for you and all of your family with Nick’s passing. I remember you speaking of him, along with your other kids, all the time and you did everything possible to spend as much time as you could with them. May Christ continue to Bless you all during this time.

We are extremely sorry to learn about the loss of your beloved Nick, he was a very sweet & kind young man. I worked with Nick for a short time when he was in his last years of high school. He was different then a lot of the other teenage boys. He was a very hard worker for his age & he had a lot of dreams he would talk about with that amazing smile on his face. The last time I saw Nick, we were Christmas shopping & and he came up to us so proudly holding a baby, as he introduced her as his baby girl his face beaming with pride & joy, being a daddy you could tell seemed to be so natural for him. Saddens me he will be missing everything that a good daddy like him should be able to share with his beautiful daughters. My heart truly breaks for Nick’s, entire family you sure did lose a special young man. And somehow it just doesn’t seem fair that someone so full of goodness & life had to leave so soon, but I’m sure he did leave you all with wonderful & loving memories hold them close to your hearts, and know that one day you’ll all reunite & the missing pieces of your family circle will once again be put back into place. Our hearts & prayers are with you all.
