Nannie Jane Bolen, age 91, passed away May 8, 2020. She was reunited with her beloved husband Magie Bolen. She was born August 22, 1928 in Rock Fork, Kentucky to the late Elza and Anna Mae (Wooten) Bolen.

Nannie spent her life as a homemaker, the most important part of her life was family and knowing they were all well. She enjoyed her visits from all family members, from all their conversations and listening to her religious and Blue Grass music. Mother also loved talking with friends from near and far, the highlight of her phone conversations was the daily calls from her son, Steve. Our Mother loved getting together and reminiscing about her younger days, which we all loved to hear. Her smile and laughter would light up a room, and bring anyones spirits up, no matter how she was feeling. Her hopes and dreams were to be able to walk again, and to go to Burger King to socialize with family and friends.

She is survived by 4 daughters, Phyllis (Ray) Bays of Willard, Cloy (Roger-Deceased) Boyd of Cypress, Texas, Susie Flores of Willard and Charlotte (Gary) Fink of Newark; son, Steve Bolen of Garrett, Kentucky; 12 grandchildren 30 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; 6 sisters and 1 brother; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Magie Bolen, who passed away June 23, 2002; 3 grandsons, Phillip Dwayne Bays, Jeremy Francis Bolen and Warren James Fink; son-in-law, Roger Boyd; and brothers and sisters.

A private graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Online condolences can be left for the family at www.secorfuneralhomes.com

Granny I love you so much, when you left me, you left a big hole. I enjoyed our time together no matter what we was doing. You put up with all my selfies now I have beautiful pictures of you. You taught me so much, I hope someday I can be half the lady you were, you taught us that family came first. I love you.
