Nelda M. Bores, age 78, resident of Willard, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007 at the Triumph Hospital in Mansfield, Ohio. She was born on November 13, 1928 to the late James and Uarda (Meacham) Reese and has been a Willard resident all of her life. She had worked for the Pioneer Rubber Co. in Willard, for 20 years, in addition to waitressing at the Brunswick Grill, where she was known for her infectious laugh. In later years, she provided child care at her home. She was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, where she was a member of the 55 Plus Club. She was also a member of the Hugenot Historical Society, the Firelands Historical Society and the Huron County Chapter of OGS.
She is survived by one son, Daniel and Marsha Bevier of Troy, OH, one daughter, Cindy Trimner of Willard; three grandsons, Nathan (Keyla) Bevier, Gordon Scott Bevier and Marcus Bevier all of PA; one grand daughter, Dana Trimner of Willard; special sister-in-law, Alma Heisler of Willard; special nephew Robert Heisler with whom she shared a passion for geneology along with many other nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Uarda (Meacham) Reese; first husband, Frank D. Bevier Jr. in 1969 and second husband, Harold Bores in 1998; sister, Evadene Schiffel in 2006; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Patricia Bevier.
Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard.
The Funeral Mass will be Sat. at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard, with Fr. Stanley Szybka officiating. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery in Willard.
