Pauline B. Alt, age 87, resident of New Washington, Ohio passed away on Friday, February 16, 2007 in Bucyrus Community Hospital. She was born on March 24, 1919 in Huron County, Ohio to the late Frank and Lillian (Gates) Stockmaster and had been a New Washington resident since 1950. She is a member of the St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in New Washington, the Rosary and Altar Society and the New Washington American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ken and Barb Alt of Mansfield; Mike and Diana Alt of New Washington; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sharon and Butch Boyle of Columbus; Dar Striker and Scott Garcia of Willard; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister, Florence Weir of Caladona, OH.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Francis Alt in 1986; three brothers, Herman, Ted and Carl Stockmaster; four sisters, Catherine Missler, Helen Kaple, Rose Young and Violet Bechtel.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in New Washington, Ohio on Sunday, February 18, 2007 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, February 19, 2007 at 10:00 AM the St. Bernard’s Catholic Church with Father Robert Dendinger officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Bernard’s Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or the donor’s choice.
