Peggy Diane Davis, age 60, of McKinney Texas passed away February 13, 2011 after a long illness. She was born July 7, 1950 in Nashville Tennessee to Charles. E. Brown Jr. and Margaret Marie Pirtle Brown. On November 9th, 1974 she married Randy James Davis in Madison, Tennessee. Dee lived in McKinney since 1996. She worked for the McKinney ISD as a Special Ed Teacher’s Aide. Dee loved working with children. She enjoyed ocean cruises with her husband and family. She had a passion for animals especially her golden retriever Chipper. She loved classic rock music and concerts, especially Paul McCartney and The Rolling Stones. She is survived by her husband, Randy Davis of McKinney TX, Daughter Tiffany Lauren Davis of Dallas TX. Son Taylor Crockett Davis of McKinney, TX, Brothers Charles P Brown of Franklin TN and Michael E. Brown of Brentwood TN. She is loved by 4 Nieces and 5 Nephews in TN and CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Margaret Brown.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, February 24th 2011 in the chapel of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow in Allen TX, and at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 5th, 2011 at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth Ohio. She will be laid to rest in beautiful Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth Ohio. Memorials may be made to the SPCA of McKinney, the American Cancer Society or the NF Foundation for Neurofibromatosis Research.
