Raymond C. Bauman, age 71, of Willard, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at the Willard Mercy Hospital. He was born Oct. 14, 1935 in Monroeville, Ohio to the late Alfred V. and Leona (Hafner) Bauman and had been a resident of the Havana area all of his life. He was a former member of St. Sebastian Church in Bismark. He attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Plymouth. He was also a member of the K of C in Attica and Ohio Farm Bureau. He was a youth minister and was a CCD Teacher at St. Sebastian Catholic Church. He did construction work and enjoyed working on the family farm.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Eberly) Bauman, whom he married in 1955; three daughters, Deborah (Bob) Breyman of Willard, Janet (Rocky) Clark of Willard, and Jacalyn (Shawn) Houck of Monroeville; five sons, Ronald (Lynne) Bauman of Roswell, GA, Randy (Janine) Bauman of Monroeville, Jerry Bauman of Havana, Dan (Shannon) Bauman of Havana, and Don (Jackie) Bauman of Westerville, Ohio; seventeen grandchildren; one great grandson; and two sisters, Betty Yost of Fostoria and Carolyn Schwan of Monroeville.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and one sister, in infancy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2007 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM and on Friday, March 9, 2007 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00- 8:00 PM at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, where there will be a prayer service on Friday at 8:00 PM. The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Plymouth, OH, with Fr. Stanley S. Szybka officiating. Burial will be at the St. Sebastian Catholic Cemetery in Bismark, Ohio. Memorials may be made to the Donor’s Choice. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.secorfuneralhome.com
