Raymond McBee, age 66, resident of Willard, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2005 at his home. He was born on April 26, 1939 in Freeport, FL, to the late John L. and Bessie Louise (Hicks) McBee, and had been a resident of Willard the past 17 years. He served in the US Army from 1962 to 1964.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Linda McBee of Willard; a special ex-brother-in-law, Sammy Barnett of Willard; one daughter, Marla McBee; one brother, Jerry R. McBee; one sister, Mary Ellen Hoff; 3 ex-brother-in-laws and spouses, Marion and Diane Lindsey of Willard, Gary Waugh of Ohio, and Billy and Debbie McNeely of Protorville, Ohio; 8 ex-sister-in-laws and spouses, Marcie Waugh of Columbus, Bridget Velasco of Willard and ex-brother-in-law,Joaquin Velasco of OK, and Clara Ann and John Wilson of Stuben, Vickie and Carlos Pedreza of Plymouth, Hazel and Gonzalez Velasco of Plymouth, Junie and Keith Wilson of Sullivan, OH, Rita and Charlie McCoy of North Fairfield, and Lisa Hale of Willard and Matthew Hale of Greenwich; ex-father-in-law, Glen and Donna McCloud of Athalia, OH; ex-mother-in-law, Fannie Lindsey; special aunt and uncle, Emma Jean and Jim Moody of Ft. Gibson, OK; a special nephew, Michael Waugh of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews, special friends, Sherry and John. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Louie O. McBee and Johnny McBee; one sister, Margaret (McBee) White; ex-brother-in-law, Timothy Lindsey; ex-mother-in-law, Dicie and Willie Barnett; and ex-father-in-law, Clifford Lindsey; special friends, Sherry and John.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Monday from 2-4 and 6-9 PM. Funeral services will be held at the Secor funeral home on Tuesday at 1:00 PM with Rev. Ron Parsons officiating. Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
