Sherry Deppen, age 50, resident of Willard, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2005 at her home. She was born on January 19, 1955 in Lexington, Ohio to the late George and Louise (Hambrick) Ray and had been a resident of Willard for 23 years. She was a housewife and a member of the Christian Alliance Church in Willard.
She is survived by her husband, Rick Deppen whom she married February 27, 1983; four sons and two daughter-in-laws, Randy and Amanda Deppen of Mansfield, Jason and Rachel Deppen of Greenwich, Richard Deppen II of Willard, and Antonio Deppen of Willard; five grandchildren Kennedy, Logan, Ricky, Jade and Jacob; and two brothers and sister-in-laws, Gary and Jeanie Ray of Elm Grove, OH and Donald and Vila Ray of Sacramento, CA. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Richard Deppen I and sister-in-law and spouse, Robert and Janet Genho.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 1-2 PM at the Christian Alliance Church in Willard, where the funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. Richard Jueckstock officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenfield Twp. Cemetery in Stuben, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Stein Hospice.
Sherry touched so many lives out there. She went home to serve the Lord. Sherry is our Gaurdian Angle watching over us.
