Retta A. Langhurst, age 94, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away Thursday, April 14, 2005 in Hillside Acres Nursing Home in Willard. She was born on August 25, 1910 in Jerome, Virginia to the late Jackson and Mary (Miller) Moomaw and had been a resident of Willard most of her life. She was a retired employee of the Pioneer Rubber Company in Willard and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Willard.
She is survived by two daughters, Yvonne Bogner of Willard; and Dorothy and Earl Seidel of Willard; three grandchildren, Kyle Feasel of Bellevue, Stephen Kennedy of Opelousas, LA and Renee Harris of Willard; seven great grandchildren and one great great grandson. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Langhurst in 1966; three sisters, Irva McFadden, Lizzie Ryman and Anna Duffy; and three brothers, Luther, Delmer and Lester Moomaw.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Sunday from 2-5 PM. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday at the funeral home with Reverend Kent Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Willard, Ohio.
