Robert D. Moore, age 77, of Willard, Ohio passed away on July 13, 2015 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky. He was born on December 31, 1937 in Jerry City, Ohio to the late Robert “Bud” and Bernice (Lowe) Moore. He worked for MTD in Willard for 32 years. Robert was always happy, especially with his grandchildren. He was a very loving grandpa. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid trap shooter.
He is survived by his wife, Martha (Johnson) Moore of Willard; daughter, Patty (Tom) Steinmetz of Willard; two granddaughters, Shannon (Dusty) Adams of Monroeville, Samantha (Travis) Puckett of Lexington; grandson, Zach Steinmetz of Willard; seven great grandchildren, Parker Adams, Alexa Adams, Adysen Adams, Isabella Adams, Kenton Puckett, Grayson Puckett, and Lincoln Puckett; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Lee Moore; sister, Patsy Moore; and two daughters, Roberta Moore McKenzie and Bonnie Kay Moore.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with a service at 8:00 PM with Rev. Danny Hamilton officiating. A private burial will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Roberts family or Stein Hospice.
