Robert L. Reber, age 57, resident of Mansfield and former Plymouth resident, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2009 in the Cleveland Clinic. He was born on November 3, 1951 in Bucyrus, Ohio to the late Leo and Agnes (Donnersbach) Reber. He was a 1969 graduate of Plymouth High School and was a life long farmer. He enjoyed tractor pulling, agriculture and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Linda (Hord) Reber whom he married on February 12, 1977; two sons, Robert Reber, Jr. and Kenneth Reber both of Mansfield; a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Kevin Rodman of Plymouth; two grandchildren, Gracie and Trent Rodman; two brothers, Richard Reber of Plymouth and Ronald Reber of Iowa; three sisters, Karen Reber and June Baker both of Shiloh and Joan Kanney of Shelby; his mother-in-law, Lucy Hord of Ashland; several nieces and and nephews; his pets, Sissy, Tank, Bear, Cujo and Maggie.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Clarence Hord.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth on Monday, July 20, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Plymouth with Father Stanley S. Szybka officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth.
