Roberto Resendez, age 69 of Willard, OH passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021 at Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital. He was born April 18, 1952 in Alice, TX to the late Diego and Evagelina (Villarreal) Resendez. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching the sport as well. He was a loving and wonderful husband, friend, father, and grandfather who was loved by many.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Burkhalter) Resendez; son, Rob (Brittany) Resendez; granddaughter Lennon Resendez; and brothers, Diego and Rey Resendez. He is also survived by many sisters and brothers-in-law as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Roberto was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Margie Resendez.
Per the request of Roberto, there will be no calling hours and funeral at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to the family at www.secorfuneralhomes.com.

Saddened to hear of Robert's passing. I met Robert when he and Nancy would visit Rob and family. I always enjoyed seeing him at Rob's house or walking with a golf club in hand and getting to chat. He will truly be missed. May our Lord offer comfort to the Resendez family.

Nancy and Robbie, my heart breaks hearing this. Robert was such a great person and friend. His ever present smile was always on his face and I never heard a negative word out of his mouth. He blessed me and encouraged me to golf and was so patient. I know your both will greatly miss him as will others but I will continue to pray for you both and God will comfort and hold you through this time of loss. One thing I do remember him talking about always was his Nancy and how he was so thankful for her. Again my prayers and love goes out to both of you. 🙏🏻❤️
