Rose Inez Kilgore, age 66, of Plymouth East Road, Plymouth, passed away Friday, Aug. 20, 2004 at her home following a lengthy illness. She was born Aug. 5, 1938 in Shiloh and has lived all of her life in the Shiloh and Plymouth area. She is a retired school bus driver for the Plymouth/Sholih Schools. She was a past Huron County Ladies Sheriff Posey member, enjoyed animals, especially her horses and loved canning things from her garden. She was a member of the Willard Church of God, where she had been a teacher and principal for the Willard Christian Academy.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Kilgore, whom she married June 23, 1957; 2 sons, Rex Kilgore and Chuck Kilgore of Plymouth; grandson, Joey Kilgore of Plymouth; 4 sisters and brothers-in-law, Edna & Charles Parshel of Middletown, Mary & Joe Henderson of Mansfield, Martha & Let Clason of West Salem and Diane & Bob Laney of Shiloh.
She is preceeded in death by her parents, Homer & Mildred (Chamberlin) Gibson and a granddaughter, Monica Kilgore.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard. The funeral service will be Monday at 11:00 A.M. at the Willard Church of God on Willard West Road, with Pastor J.E. DeVore and Pastor Greg Griffith officiating. Burial will be at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Shiloh.
