Sarah Kilgore, age 81, resident of Plymouth, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 7, 2022. She was born on January 28, 1941 in Celeryville, Ohio to the late William and Luada (Montgomery) Kilgore.
Sarah was strong in her faith with the Lord and was looking forward to reuniting with her parents in heaven, as she spoke of them often. She loved to listen to Johnny Cash gospel music and enjoyed books and watching television. Sarah was excited when family came to visit and expected everyone to bring a gift of jewelry to add to her collection. Family gatherings were much anticipated with Sarah whether it was a birthday party or Christmas.
She is survived by her siblings, Elizabeth Ritchie, Mary (Russell) Robison, Dorothy (Bill) Robison, Rebekah (Donald) Lewis and Sue Davis; two sisters-in-law, Pansy Kilgore and Wilma Phelps; one brother-in-law, Randell Fuson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Zelda (Estil) Collins, Ervin (Dora Jean) Kilgore, Benjamin Kilgore, Jerry (Inez) Kilgore, Daniel Kilgore and Beatrice Fuson; and two brothers-in-law, Beneth Ritchie and Winifred Davis.
Family and friends may visit at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sarah’s funeral service will be held at the Willard Church of God, 4551 Willard West Road, Willard, OH 44890 on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio.
