Dear Yvette and boys:
Our small village truly knows the definition of heartache. We are all suffering with the loss of Scott. God does seem to take the “good guys” first and I, for one, am truly blessed to have known Scott and to be on the receiving end of his many precious waves. He made New Washington a more friendly place, a happier place and a safer place just by his presence. Memories of that wave and his smile hopefully can bring all of us a sense of peace by knowing that his contagious spirit lives on forever and the fact that he was ours for a short time on this earth. My heartfelt sympathy to your family. Sincerely, Jan Frazee

Mark, Sam,Yvette, my thoughts and prayers are with you guys. Chief was the type of policeman that every community should have but few are lucky enough to get. Students at BC have learned to respect and appreciate law enforcement because of the way they witnessed chief always putting others first, and making it his job to help the community, educating not over enforcing. He also raised two fantastic kids that any parent would be glad to call their own. I will miss his waves. Thoughts with you all
