Sharon L. Moyer, age 65, resident of New Washington, Ohio passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at her home unexpectedly. She was born on October 16, 1942 in Bucyrus, Ohio to the late Daniel and Ruth (Vorndran) Steigerwalt and had been both a Willard and New Washington resident. She was a 1960 graduate of New Washington High School and had work at the former Pioneer Rubber Company in Attica. She enjoyed going to flea markets and selling her wares. She is a member of the St. Bernard’s Catholic Church and loved spending time with family especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Russell Edward Moyer of Willard; four children Lee (Dawn) Moyer of Willard; Martin (Sally) Moyer of Warrensburg, MO; Kimberly Kaye Moyer of Willard; Brenda SuAnne (Greg) Slack of Mansfield; three grandchildren, Shannon Kaitlin, Casey Nolan and Kelly Marie Slack.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by an infant sister, Jaunita Steigerwalt.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesady, September 2, 2008 at 4:00 PM at the St. Bernard’s Catholic Cemetery in New Washington, Ohio with Father Tommy Rodrigues officiating. Secor Funeral Home in New Washington assisted the family with arrangements.Memorial contributions can be made to Arthritis Foundation, PO Box 96280,Washington, D.C. 20090.
