Shirley Ann Neeley, age 64, resident of Plymouth, Ohio passed away on January 31, 2009. She was born on October 31, 1944 in Shelby, Ohio to the late Ralph Ross and Joyce (Garret) Lykins. A graduate of Willard High School, she had been employed as a housekeeper at Hillside Acres Nursing Home in Willard and Crestwood Care Center in Shelby and was also an Avon Representative. She was a member of the Tiro United Baptist Church and enjoyed cross-stitching, crocheting and collecting snowmen.
She is survived by her husband, James Neeley; two sons, Jimmy and Mike Neeley; three daughters, Shelley Williams, Rosalyn Williams and Tammy Cole all of Plymouth; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and a brother, Richard Ross.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a step sister, Linda Doall.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth on Monday, February 2, 2009 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at 11AM with Reverend S. T. Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. We are sorry that we was not able to be there with you and the rest of the family . We was not notified of my nieces passing . MY heart as well as my wife and children ‘s hearts are with you all at this time . we all loved and cared for shirley and will miss her dearly . I am glad i got to spend some time with her in jan befor she went to the nursing home. she was always a fighter an kind person ..
I wish i was able to be there when she passed an was layed to rest . My prayers are with you all as my family endures another loss of a great person.

I’ve known Shirley since I was a young girl and she was always a nice person. When I think about her I can see her smile and hear her laughter. I remember the talks she used to have with us girls. She will be missed and James, Jimmy, Mike, Shelley, Rosalyn and Tammy you are all in my prayers that God will comfort you during this difficult time.
