Teddy Joe Johnson, age 44, resident of Willard, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019, at his residence. He was born July 22, 1974 to Diana (Vance) Vanderpool and the late Quinton Johnson. Teddy was a graduate of Willard High School. He loved cooking, fishing, spending time with friends and family, but most of all, Teddy loved helping people. He spent a lot of time on Kelleys Island where he will be truly missed. All who knew him, loved him.
Teddy is survived by his mother and Pops, Diana and Roy Vanderpool; brothers, Steven (Heather) Johnson , Joshua Vanderpool; nephew and nieces, Wyatt, Katie, and Max; Sisters, Delana (Mike) Lichoff, Tonya (Jason) Westbrook, Angela (Darin) Hershiser; many nieces and nephews; maternal grandfather, Thomas Vance; paternal grandmother, Gladys Hicks; uncles, Danny (Sherri) Vance, Tommy Joe Vance, Tommy (Crystal) Vance; aunt, Sandra (Brandt) Morgan; great aunt, Christine Blankenship; aunt, Sherri Dotson.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Quinton Johnson; maternal grandmother, Charlotte Vance; paternal grandfather, Willis Hicks; brother, John Vanderpool; cousin, Danny Vance II.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m., Elder Ray Vanderpool to officiate the service. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help cover funeral expenses.
