Trilby Hicks, age 93, resident of Willard, passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the Willows at Willard. She was born on September 26, 1927, in Hueysville, KY, to the late Eddie and Bertha (Prater) Ousley. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Willard Garden Club.
She is survived by her son, David (Nancy) Hicks of North Fairfield; two grandchildren, Matt (Mary Ana) Hicks of Vermilion, Ohio, and Dawn (Wayne) Fryback of Ashland, Ohio; five great grandsons, Braiden Hicks, Cole Hicks, Chase Hicks, Nathan Fryback and Adam Fryback; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Ezra Hicks on April 2, 2008; a daughter, Donna J. Hicks and siblings, Ray Ousley, Edith Bentley and Marie Hicks.
Friends may call at the First United Methodist Church in Willard, Ohio, on Thursday, July 8, 2021, from 10:00 AM until the time of her service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Michael Padula officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Willard.
