Vergene E. McClary, age 90, resident of Plymouth, passed away on Saturday, October 1,2011 at Willard Healthcare in Willard, Ohio. She was born on March 29, 1921 to the late Oliver and Catherine (Frost) Newell and had been a resident of Plymouth most of her life.
She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Patricia A. Jacobs of Plymouth, Ohio and Sharon J. and Richard Elmlinger of Willard, Ohio; four grandchildren, Jamie (James) Woodward of Bellville, Ohio, Jeffrey (Margie) Jacobs of Plymouth, Ohio, Angie (Doug) Jacobs of Plymouth, Ohio and Chris (Kendra) Elmlinger of Willard, Ohio and ten great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard McClary; her parents, Oliver and Catherine (Frost) Newell; two brothers; one sister, and a son-in-law, James L. Jacobs
Friends may call on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio from 1:00 to 2:00 PM where the funeral service will be Tuesday at 2:00 PM with Pastor Carol Kilgore officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth, Ohio. Memorial contributions can be made to Stein Hospice of Sandusky, Ohio.
