Marsha Danhoff (Karl) - Sep 25, 2012

Louise, Tom and Ruth
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I was out of town last week and just learned about your Mom yesterday.
Ironically, I just spoke to her and Ruth a few days earlier at the Rehab Center. I asked if she remembered me and then told her who I was – she responded ” well it sounds like Marsha”. Not sure if she really knew me but it was good to see her.
Both your Mom and Dad held a special place in my heart. They were remolding their house when Ron and I married and stopped by right after we were settled in the house on Scott Rd. They asked if we wanted their end tables. I was so excited as we were just starting to purchase furnishings and we certainly had a limited budget. We kept those until we built the house on Baker and they followed me to Willard.
Truly a blessed special women with kindness of heart and a certain gentleness that captivated my spirit. She has now been reunited with your Dad after so many long years. She is at peace and has completed her final journey leaving a wonderful legacy – all of you.
Let the fond memories heal and sustain you .

Tom, Louise, Ruth and Families, Our condolences to all of you with the loss of your mom. Viola was an energizing, fun and caring person – she will be missed greatly. It was always a joy to return to Ohio and see her smiling and welcoming face. And I will never forget the one time, many years ago, when she apologized for all the homemade bread cooling around her warm kitchen as she just didn’t have enough time to make it to the store that day and had to make bread for her family. No one in their right mind would ever pass up her cooking for any store or restaurant.
Our best wishes to all of you.
Tom, Diane and Nathan Harder / Eckstein
