Virginia E. Schiffel, age 81, resident of Willard, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2006 in Willard Mercy Hospital. She was born on July 24, 1925 to the late James and Uarda (Meacham) Reese and had been a life long Willard resident. Mrs. Schiffel was graduate of Willard High School and a retired dispatcher for the Willard Police Department. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Willard.
She is survived by her husband, F. Edward Schiffel, whom she married on June 4, 1943; two daughters and a son-in-law,, Ruth Ann and William Armatrout of Willard; and Marsha Schiffel of Medina; one son and daughter-in-law, James E. and Mardell Schiffel of Willard; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one sister, Nelda Bores of Willard. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Friday, September 8, 2006 from 5-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jerry Rhea officiating. Burial will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Willard, Ohio.
