Wilma J. Buffington, age 65, resident of Bucyrus, OH, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2007 at the Heartland Nursing Home in Bucyrus, OH. She was born on December 27, 1941 to the late William and Ellen (Neufer) Brown and had been a resident of New Washington for the past 40 years. She was a member of the New Washington United Methodist Church. She use to write for the Greenwich Newspaper.
She is survived by her husband, Leroy R. Buffington of New Washington; one daughter, Ellen R. (Steven) Aichholz of New Washington; two granddaughters, Larai and Makayla Aichholz; two sisters, Barbara Booth of Mansfield and Jessica Kollert of Ashland; four brothers, Johnny, Wayne, Danny and Ronnie Brown; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Ellen (Neufer) Brown and one brother, Bruce Brown.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 14, 2007 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Secor Funeral Home in New Washington, where the funeral service will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM , with Rev. Pamela Sayre officiating. Burial will be at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenwich, OH. Memorial expressions may be made to the Donor’s Choice.
