Rich was a great brother-in -law and we shared the same birthday. He was what I call a “fireman’s fireman. Him and Chief Ratliff were like John Gage and Roy Desoto to me. “Emergency “. They set the bar high and it will be awhile before that bar is reached .

Brooke, Luke and Zach-We are so heart broken for the lose of your Dad and Grandpa. He was so proud of all of you. When we talked about all of you, his smile just lit up the room! He was a soft spoken man who loved his family and his fire department. The hours of boat rides he gave all of us and the laughter we shared during the summer will stay with us forever. We will cherish them, and they will always bring a smile to our faces. We hope that these memories will comfort all of you during this heartbreaking time. Thank you for the great memories Rich. You will be missed.
