Charles F. “Chuck” Haspeslagh, age 24, resident of Plymouth, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2005 in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. He was born on February 10, 1981 in Willard, Ohio and had been a resident of Attica and Willard areas all of his life. He graduated from Seneca East High School in 1999 with honors and currently attended North Central State College where he was persuing a degree in Criminal Justice. He was employed by RR Donnelley in Willard working in the Press Room. He was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Attica and attened church at the First Church of God in Ashland. He was a fan of all Ohio sports teams and enjoyed movies, music and family activities.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann (Kieffer) Haspeslagh of Willard; one brother, Joseph Haspeslagh of Willard; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Jocelyn Haspeslagh of Willard; and Cynthia and Russell Hillis of Willard; three nephews, Christopher, Michael, and Eric Hillis; his soul mate, Becky Magers of Plymouth; his dog, Rosie; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Haspeslagh; maternal grandparents, Frank and Phyllis Kieffer; and paternal grandparents, Paul and Helen Haspeslagh.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Tuesday, September 20, 2005 from 2-4 and 6-9 PM, where a vigil service will be held at 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Doug Magers officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Attica. Memorial contributions may be made to the Home Away From Home Facility at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, 2113 Cherry St., Toledo, OH 43608.
