Paul Luppino, age 81, resident of Willard, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2005 in Willard Health Care Center. He was born on November 27, 1923 in Akron, Ohio to the late Dominick and Caterina (Pargolite) Luppino. He retired as a Pattern Maker from The Pioneer Rubber Company after 25 years. He was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church in Willard. He loved to go to church at the Sorrowful Mother Shrine in Bellevue, Ohio. He was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and traveling.
He is survived by his wife, Gabriella Luppino, whom he wed on July 16, 1959 in Pompei, Italy; two sons, Dominick and Charlotte Luppino of Columbus, Ohio and John and Beth Luppino of Toledo, Ohio; a daughter, Maria Green of Shelby, Ohio; six grandchildren, Sara and Carla Luppino, Katherine and Olivia Luppino, and Richard Paul and Daniel Green; sister-in-law, Edda Luppino of Willard; and a nephew and two nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Frank and Antonio Luppino.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Monday from 6-9 PM, where a Rosary service will be held at 8:30 PM. Funeral mass will be held at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard on Tuesday at 10:00 AM with Father Stanley S. Szybka officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Willard.
