Dale L. Adams, age 58, resident of Willard, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2007 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. He was born on December 9, 1948 in Willard, Ohio and had been a resident of Willard all of his life. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam Era. He enjoyed working crossword puzzles, playing softball and loved the Buckeyes, Yankees and Willard sports.
He is survived by his son, Paul L. Adams of Willard; his mother, Nora (Harvey) Adams of Willard; one sister and brother-in-law, Norma (Jerry) Patton of Dayton, Ohio; two brothers and sisters-in-law, David (Michelle) Adams and Rickey (Sarah) Adams of Willard; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Adams
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Monday, June 18, 2007 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Father Stanley S. Szybka officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial expressions may be made to the Willard Athletic Boosters.
