David E. Bettac, age 55, resident of Willard, Ohio, passed away on March 22, 2013 at his home from a lengthy illness. He was born on August 6, 1957 in Willard, Ohio and had been a life long resident. David had work as a truck driver and was a veteran of the US Air Force. He loved to hunt and fish, but his passion was gardening.
He is survived his parents, Joseph and Agnes (Wilkinson) Bettac of Willard; three children, Josh Bettac (Corrie Canode) of Bellevue; Joseph Bettac of Norwalk; and Jamie Bettac (Tim Marvin) of Carrothers; five grandchildren, Wyatt Bettac, Jacob and Kiersten Bettac, Lilly and Lauren Marvin; two brothers, Tim and Teresa Bettac of North Fairfield; and Dan and Val Bettac of Willard; nieces and nephews, Allie Bettac, Aaron Bettac, Dillon Bettac and Logan Bettac; numerous aunts, uncles and other relatives.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Earl and Louise Wilkinson; paternal grandparents, Chester and Helen Bettac; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Wednesday March 27, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM where a memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM with Pastor Tom Wright officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. Online condolences can be made at www.secorfuneralhomes.com

Really sorry to hear of David’s passing. In the 50 years that I’ve known him, he was never anything but the best person to me. I am humbled to have been a small part in his life. My prayers are with you all. God Bless!
