Evelyn Ruth Buckingham, age 77, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on October 2, 2008 at Willard Health Care in Willard, Ohio. She was born on February 19, 1931 to the late Halden Palmer and Ruth Isabella (Haag) Buckingham and has been a Willard resident most of her life, spending a year in Florida and four years in Cleveland. She was a registered nurse and worked for 20 years at Fisher Titus Medical Center in Norwalk, retiring in 1991.
She is survived by one brother, Donald E. Buckingham of Willard; and a half sister, Mildred L. Tanner of Willard.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Halden Palmer and Ruth Isabella (Haag) Buckingham; two brothers, Robert and David Buckingham; and a half brother Halden T Buckingham.
Memorial service will be Monday, October 6, 2008 at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church in Willard, with Rev. Ken Gifford officiating. Secor Funeral Home in Willard assisted the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.secorfuneralhomes.com

I am truly sorry for your loss. Bucky was a true friend to our Grandmother, Ruth Stotz. They had so much fun together in this life. Bucky stood by our grandmother all the way. She was a faithful servant in our time of need. Even though we grieve her loss, we can rejoice and knowing that Grandma Ruth’s card partner has finally made it home. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
