Glenna L. (McLaughlin) Meeks, age 63, resident of Tiro, went home to be with our Lord, Jan. 14, 2005 at the Willard Health Care Center, following a battle with Lou Gehrig’s Disease (ALS). She was born on October 10, 1941 in Willard to the late Glenn and Dorothy (Sherman) McLaughlin and had been a resident of Willard most of her life. She was a LPN and a Licensed Massage Therapist at the Heartland Bed & Breakfast in Chesterville, OH.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Brent Alan Baxter of California and Bradley and Annette Baxter of Tiro; one daughter and son-in-law, Belinda and Michael Stockmaster of Willard; seven grandchildren, Cameron and Sara Baxter of California, Nickolas, Joseph and Claire Baxter of Tiro, and Jared and Brittany Stockmaster of Willard; one brother, Charles “Bud” McLaughlin of Deltona, FL; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Dorothy (Sherman) McLaughlin.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, where the funeral service will be Monday at 11:00 A.M. Memorials may be made to the A.L.S. or the Cleveland Clinic or to the Seneca East Public Library.
