Harold D. Feltner, age 88, of Plymouth, Ohio passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at the Willard Mercy Hospital. He was born on December 14, 1926 to the late Ed and Minnie (Ferguson) Feltner in Lykens, Kentucky. Harold served in the U.S. Army during World War II from January 14, 1946 to January 9, 1947. He worked for B&O, CXS railroad as a welder foreman for 45 years. Harold enjoyed gardening, mowing the lawn, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of the Temple of God Church in Shelby, where he served as treasurer for many years.
Harold is survived by his three children, Sheilla Gibson (Edward Jr.), John Feltner (Barb), Harold R. Feltner (Judy); 4 sisters, Imogene Barnett (Joe), Jerry Duncan (Charles), Margie Gray (Harold), Sandi Bartley (Bill); 5 brothers, Roy Feltner (Nora), Vondel Feltner, Linville Feltner (Loretta), Jimmy Feltner (Marion), Eddie Feltner (Joyce); 6 grandchildren, Eddie Gibson, Jason Gibson (Amber), Jolie Fishbaugh (Brian), Angie Feltner, Erin Feltner, Susanna Hale (Dustin); 8 great grandchildren, Noelle Conley, Riley Gibson, Nathan Gibson, Curtis Hale, Jackson Hale, Jordan Dials, Camryn Creamer, Caden Flores; 1 great great grandchild, Sophia Smith; special friend, Claudett Haynes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Feltner and a brother, Charles Lee Feltner.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. A funeral service will be on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the funeral home at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor George Lewis officiating. Burial will then take place at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Temple of God Church in Shelby.
