Phillip and Kathy,
Remembering the words from John 14:2 Jesus preparing a place, I believe the preparation of Helen’s place was finished. All the things that she loved were made ready. With all that preparation in place the words of Ecc. 3:2 were completed: A time to be born and a time to die. The preparation finished, it was her time. God placed Helen in your family for your care and now it is time for his care. Just as we build families on earth, God is building families in heaven. I am reminded of Bonnie Tackett’s story about a prayer blanket from church for Richard Beebe. His grandchildren requested it. Justin and Allison took him the prayer blanket. Bonnie worried what would she tell the kids if Richard did not get well. Justin said, if he doesn’t get well it is his time to go. Out of the mouths of babes. I am reminded of Job 1:2 And said Naked came I out of my mother’s womb and naked I shall return thither, the Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away, BLESSED BE THE NAME OF THE LORD. Blessed be the name of the Lord no matter what the trouble is marked in my Bible. Your loss is truly heaven’s gain. May God grant you peace and comfort.
