J. Zanette Fackler, age 82, resident of Plymouth, Ohio passed away on Monday, December 31, 2007 in Willard Healthcare Center. She was born on September 10, 1925 to the late Harry R. and Alta (Danner) Briggs and has been a life long Plymouth resident. She was a 1943 graduate of Plymouth High School and a homemaker. She was a lifetime member of the Plymouth First Presbyterian Church where she was very active and she was also a member of the Plymouth Area Historical Society.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Julie Fackler of Plymouth; one daughter ansd son-in-law, Elizabeth Fackler and Robert Kuehn of Waterville, OH; four grandchildren, Eliot, Evan and Elizabeth Fackler; and Andrew Kuehn; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Margaret and Harold Myers of Mansfield; Betty Squire of Mansfield; a sister-in-law, Eda Briggs of Plymouth; numerous nieces and nephews; special neighbors, Richard and Peggy Helms of Plymouth.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard D. Fackler in 1989; three brothers, Harry, Whitney and Leland Briggs; two sisters, Lois Boser and Lucille Pollock.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio on Thursday, January 3, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday at the First Presbyterian Church with Reverend Linda Heinaman officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth. Betsy and Todd, You have our deepest sympathy regarding the loss of your mother. Your mom and dad were always true friends to my parents. Your mom will be greatly missed.
Our deepest sympathy to Todd, Betsy and the whole Fackler family. Aunt Zanette’s passing is traumatic for the family but it seems some comfort can be taken in the fact that she passed peacefully as she wished.
