Janet K. Hines, age 79, of Willard, Ohio passed away on April 9, 2024 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. She was born on October 12, 1944, in Willard, Ohio to the late Donald J. and Eunice B. (Moomaw) Heisler.
Janet was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and was the president of the Catholic Ladies of Columbia. She enjoyed going shopping and watching Cash Explosion. Janet loved hanging out with her friends and family, especially keeping up with the grandkids and all their activities.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Kim (Dave) Cox of Willard, Ohio; two sons, Will (Marianna) Hines of Lorain, Ohio and Matt (Missy) Hines of Attica, Ohio; four grandchildren, Tiffany (David) Purdie, Trey (Ana) Hines, Brandon Hines and Aidan Hines; 8 great grandchildren, Adelina, Penelope, Lola, Luna, William, Duke, Cooper and Beau; sister, Linda Veletean of Willard, Ohio; brother, Mark (Pam) Heisler of Carmel, IN; along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Hines and Brother-in-law, Michael Veletean.
Calling hours will be on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard, Ohio from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Janet’s funeral mass will be on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard, Ohio with Fr. Ron Schock officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Willard, Ohio.
