Jean C. Beard, age 83, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at her residence. She was born on June 10, 1935 in Plymouth, Ohio to the late Carl and Eleanor (Lofland) Carnahan. Jean was a 1953 graduate of Plymouth High School. She enjoyed her two cats and loved spending time with her family and knitting for them.

She is survived by her husband, Homer Beard; two sons, Rocky (Laura) Black of Grove City, OH and Roger (Lora) Grabach of Vero Beach, FL; grandchildren, great-grandchildren nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Polachek and Evelyn Williamson.

Visitation will be at Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from Noon until 2:00 PM where her service will be at 2:00 PM with Pastor Blanche Tyree officiating. Rocky and family--so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was such a sweet lady. I know she and Homer and my folks had some good times together. We lost my mom two years ago, so I know how hard this is. Dad and I are thinking of you all.
