Robert W. Cole, age 78 of Willard, Ohio passed away at the St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio following a sudden illness. He was born December 11, 1940 in Galion, Ohio to the late Grover and Laura Alice (Christman) Cole. He retired from R.R. Donnelley and Sons in Willard. He was a member of the Willard Moose and a former member of the Willard American Legion. He enjoyed taking care of his lawn and formerly worked on lawn mowers and small engines.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carol (Warfel) Cole; son, Charles C. (Stephanie) Cole of Norcross, GA; daughter, Cassie (Gary) Kuhn of Willard; 2 grandchildren, Meredith Cole of Buffalo, NY and Andrew Cole of Atlanta, GA; 2 step-grandchildren, Lori Adams of Huron and Jenny Robinson of New Haven; siblings, Raymond (Nancy) Cole of Galion, Jeri (Mark) Fisher of Galion and Miriam Watson of Apopka, FL; many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Laura Cole.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard where the memorial service will be Wednesday at 5:00 P.M., with Pastor Theresa Carter officiating.
