Jeweldene Newberry, age 66, of Willard, passed away Friday, January 2, 2009 at the St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. She was born June 15, 1942 in Plymouth, Ohio to the late Arlie and Katie (Conley) Barnett.
She is survived by 2 sons, David Newberry of Willard and Charles Newberry Jr. of Willard; 8 grandchildren; 4 brothers, Curtis Barnett of Willard, Edwin Barnett of Lake Whales, FL, Mike Barnett of Plymouth and Dan Barnett of Fort Worth, TX; 4 sisters, Louetta Collins of Plymouth, Irene Heydinger of New Washington, Elaine Steele of Willard and Belinda Barnett of Willard; numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Newberry Sr.; son, Jessie James Newberry; parents, Arlie and Katie Barnett; sister, Maxine Cole.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009, from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, where the funeral service will be Wednesday at 11:00 A.M., with Rev. Calvin Robinson officiating.
