Laura E. Tschanen, age 79, resident of Willard, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 in Willard Health Care Nursing Home. She was born on July 20, 1928 in Shelby, Ohio to the late Edward and Susan (Rhineburger) Gamble and had been a resident of Willard most of her life. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary of Willard. She was Co-Owner of Heck’s Dry Cleaners in Willard. She was a former employee of Ben Franklin in Willard. She enjoyed dancing, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Susan Hamman of Willard; a son, Don (Erin) Tschanen of Newark, Ohio; four grandchildren, Sharrilee (Jim) Patrick, Chad (Sheila) Sallee, Cody Hamman, and Jacob Tschanen; and five great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Tschanen on March 21, 1993; her parents; two brothers, Jim and Ed Gamble; and two sisters, Lavina Bruce and Edna Hall.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Friday, August 17, 2007 from Noon – 2:00 PM where the funeral will be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. Chad Honaker officiating.
