LaVina Hiler, age 76, resident of Upper Sandusky, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 in Fairhaven Community Nursing Home in Upper Sandusky. She was born on May 13, 1930 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Francis and Charlene (Clark) Hewitt and had been a resident of the Attica area most of her life. She was a homemaker and enjoyed helping her husband run their family business. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved to spend time with her family.
She is survived by her husband Bernard Hiler; one son, Ronald Hiler of Attica; one daughter, Sue Summers of Bloomville; 4 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; one niece and one nephew.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in New Washington on Friday, November 24, 2006 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Cathy Wirth officiating. Burial will follow at the Union Cemetery in Sulfur Springs, Ohio.
